We believe in the humanitarian values and fundamental principles advocated by the Red Cross Movement.

The International Humanitarian Law Moot (IHL Moot) programme is an inter-university law moot competition open to law schools in the Asia-Pacific Region since 2003. The IHL Moot aims to raise awareness of international humanitarian issues among the public and law students and to enhance their knowledge and application of international humanitarian law (IHL). Over the years, more than 1,300 law students from over 23 countries or regions in the Asis-Pacific region have participated in the IHL Moot, making it the largest multinational university competition of its kind in the region.

Through preparing memorials for and arguing on IHL problems based on a hypothetical case scenario, students are expected to raise their awareness on IHL and deepen their knowledge of its rules and application, so as to breed themselves into future leaders with humanitarian vision.
