About 5.8 Charity Day

May 8th is World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day. Henri Dunant, the founder of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, was deeply moved by witnessing a brutal battle in 1859. Motivated by compassion, he organized local residents to provide aid to wounded soldiers and civilians, leading to the birth of the International Red Cross Movement.

This year, we are especially holding a "5.8 Charity Day" event, launching an online crowdfunding platform to raise funds for over 20 service programs. The coverage of services includes disaster relief and preparedness, psychological support, youth development, humanitarian education, volunteer development, and elderly services. Through the crowdfunding platform, we hope to share personal stories, promote the spirit of the Red Cross, and invite the public to donate and support. And for every $100 you donate, the organizations will match your contribution, allowing us to further amplify the power of love.
